Bajaj launched the world’s first CNG bike on 5th July. On the launch, Bajaj announced that the bike would be available only in Maharashtra and Gujarat, with plans to expand to other states in phase-wise manner. After almost two months now, the wait for customers in Delhi NCR is over, as the automaker has started delivering the Bajaj Freedom in Delhi from today. Features
The Bajaj Freedom 125 is built on a trellis frame that securely houses the CNG cylinder. It comes equipped with a host of modern features, including LED headlights, a full LCD instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, a petrol-CNG switch button that can be operated on the go, a 785 mm (670 mm usable) long quilted seat, and LED tail lamps. The Freedom 125 features 17-inch front alloy wheels and a 16-inch rear wheel. It has strong 240 mm disc brakes at the front and a 130 mm drum brake at the rear.
Colour Options
Bajaj offers the Freedom 125 in five colour options for the Disc LED and Drum LED variants: Caribbean Blue, Ebony Black-Grey, Pewter Grey-Black, Racing Red, and Cyber White.
However, if you are considering the base Drum model, there are only two colour options available: Pewter Grey-Yellow and Ebony Black-Red.
Powertrain and Mileage
The Bajaj Freedom is a dual-fuel vehicle compatible with both CNG and petrol. It is powered by a 124.58 cc engine that produces 9.5 PS of power and 9.7 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed (1D-4U) transmission. With its 2 kg CNG cylinder, Bajaj claims a mileage of 102 km/kg while for petrol, the claimed mileage is 65 km/litre.
