BYD eMax 7: New Name Of BYD e6 Facelift

The BYD e6 was the automaker’s first offering in India, and the upcoming facelift will mark its first major update since its initial launch

BYD India has announced that the facelifted version of the e6 will be launched as the BYD eMax 7 in India. While this model is known as the M6 in international markets, the India-spec version will adopt a new name: eMax 7. The “e” in eMax 7 stands for electric, “Max” signifies improved performance and range compared to the outgoing model, and “7” indicates its generation.

The facelifted MPV will retain its familiar silhouette but will feature a more dynamic and sharper exterior design. The updated eMax 7 is also expected to sport 17-inch Y-spoke alloy wheels and a modern LED tail light.

The features list for the BYD eMax 7 is likely to be inspired by the M6, which includes a 12.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a dual-pod instrument cluster with a multi-information display (MID), wireless phone charging, a panoramic glass roof, and electronically adjustable driver and front passenger seats.
