The French carmaker Citroen has added yet another product to its special edition “X-series.” Introducing the latest addition to this series. The Citroen Aircross X, has been launched at an introductory price of ₹8.29 Lacs (ex-showroom, Delhi).

What’s under the hood?
- The all-new Aircross X gets the same 1.2 litre NA petrol and a 1.2 Litre turbo petrol engine options
- Both trims come mated to 6-speed manual and automatic gearbox options.
- The Aircross also holds a 5-star GNCAP rating

What’s new on the feature end?
- On the outside, we only get to see the all-new X badging on the boot and 10 colorway options: Polar White, Steel Grey, Garnet Red, Cosmo Blue, Deep Forest Green (new), Perla Nera Black, and dual-tone shades like Deep Forest Green/Perla Nera Black, Polar White/Perla Nera Black, Cosmo White/Polar White, and Garnet Red/Perla Nera Black.
- Stepping inside, we see a complete array of new and updated feature lists, which include a 10.25-inch infotainment screen powered by wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, ventilated seats (mandated in all X-series lineups), a 360-degree camera, auto auto-dimming IRVM, push start/stop, a redesigned gear lever, ambient light, cruise control, and Citroen’s in-house AI assistant module, Cara.
- The safety list on the newly launched Citroen Aircross X includes 6 airbags as standard. ESP, hill hold, ABS with EBD, and rear parking sensors.
With its launch, the Citroen Aircross X will lock horns with the existing competitors who also dominate the Indian automobile market, like the Hyundai Creta,Hyundai creta Kia Seltos, Tata Harrier, Jeep Compass, the all-new Maruti Suzuki Victoris, MG Astor, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and the Skoda Kushaq.
