Hyundai has expanded the lineup of Aura by introducing the CNG powertrain to the base-spec (E) of the sub-compact sedan. Until now, the CNG option was only available in the S and SX trims. The newly introduced CNG variant for the E trim is priced at Rs 7.48 lakh (ex-showroom), making the Aura CNG more affordable by Rs 82,000.

Under the hood, Aura E CNG is powered by the same 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine found in other CNG variants, delivering 69 PS of power and 95.2 Nm of torque. It offers a claimed mileage of 28.4 km/kg in CNG mode.

Being a base variant, the Aura E CNG comes with a basic set of features. The feature list includes front power windows, a manual AC unit, a power outlet in the front cabin, and a cooled glove box. On the safety front, it is equipped with six airbags as standard, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, and seat belt reminders for all seats.
