Kia Syros will be the first India-made SUV to showcase the brand’s Design 2.0 philosophy. Inspired by the EV9, the Syros features a bold front design with vertically stacked LED DRLs, a chunky bumper, and a high bonnet, giving it a rugged look. The tall-boy SUV silhouette combines practicality with a touch of modern elegance, thanks to premium features like flush-type door handles. At the rear, the Syros stands out with sleek, high-mounted L-shaped wrap-around LED taillights, seamlessly integrated into the roofline.

The Kia Syros is set to come loaded with a variety of features, including ADAS, a panoramic sunroof, reclining rear seats with ventilation, to name just a few. Positioned between the Sonet and Seltos, the Syros is expected to borrow several key features from its siblings, such as the 10.25-inch dual-screen setup, dual-zone automatic climate control, wireless charger, 360-degree camera, and more. While the complete list of features has yet to be revealed, teasers have offered glimpses of a new steering wheel, ambient lighting, USB Type-C ports, and terrain modes. We can also expect the Syros to come with 6 airbags as standard for enhanced safety.

These include a 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine producing 118 bhp and 172 Nm of torque, along with a 1.5-litre diesel engine delivering 116 bhp and 250 Nm of torque. Additionally, a 1.5-litre petrol engine option is also anticipated. Transmission choices are expected to include a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed torque converter automatic, a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic (DCT), and also a 6-speed iMT.
