Nowadays, every auto manufacturer seems to be in a race to launch a black edition of their vehicles, driven by the growing craze for black SUVs in India. While the Mahindra XUV700 was already available in a black paint scheme, its interiors did not match the exterior theme. Now Mahindra has introduced a new Ebony Edition of the XUV700, which, along with minor cosmetic updates to the exterior, features an all-black interior.
A closer look at the details reveals that the Ebony Edition gets a new Stealth Black shade with sparkly flakes. Additionally, the front grille and alloy wheels are now blacked out, while the skid plates are finished in silver. Inside the cabin, a dual-tone theme can be seen, with silver inserts on the dashboard and door panels. The rest of the dashboard and doors are now finished in black, replacing the ivory shade found in the standard XUV700. Chrome elements have also been swapped for dark chrome, enhancing the overall stealthy look.
The Ebony Edition is based on the 7-seater AX7 and AX7L trims, with a total of seven variants available across both petrol and diesel engine options. Here’s the complete variant-wise price list:
