The Maruti Dzire facelift is set to launch soon in the Indian market, and we now have the first glimpse of the refreshed sub-compact sedan. Maruti has given the 2024 Dzire a completely overhauled exterior, offering a fresh and unique look. Unlike previous models, the facelifted Dzire will no longer share the design cues with its hatchback sibling, the Swift. Here’s a closer look at what we observed from the spied images.
Refreshed Exterior Design

The front of the 2024 Dzire has been refreshed with a larger, more prominent grille featuring horizontal slats, with the Suzuki logo placed in the centre. The updated headlight design looks sleeker and includes a striking array of multi-bejeweled LEDs, accompanied by integrated DRLs positioned in the lower part of the same housing. The LED fog lamps are placed below the headlights setup in a re-designed housing.

On the side, the Dzire now comes with stylish diamond-cut alloy wheels and a shark-fin antenna. The biggest update in the Dzire is the addition of a single-pane sunroof, making it the first in its rivals to offer this feature. The rear profile also gets a refreshed look with new tail lamps and redesigned bumpers. The tail lights now feature an arrow-shaped element. It retains the chrome strip, similar to the one present in the current model.
Interior

Although the spied images only shows the exterior, the Dzire facelift is expected to feature significant interior upgrades. It may include features borrowed from the 4th gen Swift, such as a larger 9-inch touchscreen system, wireless phone charger, and automatic climate control across all trims. Additional features could include a heads-up display, a 360-degree camera, and six airbags.
Powertrain
Maruti is expected to equip the Dzire with the same powertrain as the Swift, featuring a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine. This will be available with both manual and automatic transmission options.
