With festivities around the corner, car manufacturers are racing to launch limited editions of their offerings to attract customers. Soon after launching the Windsor EV, MG has now introduced limited editions of its Hector and Astor. Let’s take a detailed look at what these editions bring to the table.

MG Hector Snowstorm

As the name suggests, this limited edition features a white paint scheme with a dual-tone black-finished roof. The Hector Snowstorm edition is based on the second-top variant, Sharp Pro, and is available in both 5-seater and 6/7-seater Hector Plus options. This limited edition comes at a premium of Rs 32,000 over the regular variant. Here’s the complete variant-wise price list.

In terms of changes, the Snowstorm edition gets a dual-tone paint scheme. The front profile sports a blacked-out grille with the MG logo also finished in black. The headlight housing features a black treatment with red highlights. Another change at the front is the skid plates, now available in black with silver inserts. On the side, the Hector Snowstorm gets all-black 18-inch alloy wheels with red brake calipers. The ORVMs are finished in black with red inserts. There’s an option to add the Snowstorm moniker on the fender, similar to what we saw on the Gloster, which is available as part of the accessories.

The rear profile also receives minor cosmetic changes, including smoked connected LED taillights with dark chrome inserts, red accents on the tailgate, and blacked-out Hector badging.

The changes aren’t limited to the exterior but extend to the interior as well. The black and red colour scheme continues inside, with all-black interiors complemented by red ambient lighting. The seat upholstery is available in black, featuring Snowstorm badging on the front headrests. The door handles, steering wheel, and centre console get a gunmetal finish. The Sharp Pro variant is loaded with features like a 14-inch infotainment system, front ventilated seats, and a panoramic sunroof, all of which will be carried forward in this limited Snowstorm edition as well.

MG Astor Blackstorm

MG Motor has relaunched the limited Astor Blackstorm edition, based on the Select variant. As the name suggests, the Astor Blackstorm comes in an all-black paint scheme with contrasting red highlights. At the front, both the grille and the bumper receive a black finish, with a red insert on the bumper below the headlights. The alloy wheels and roof rails are also blacked out, while the brake calipers are painted red. Changes to the rear profile are limited to the black-finished bumper.

As expected, the interiors of the Astor Blackstorm edition are finished in black, including the dashboard and seats. Red accents can also be found in the interior, such as around the AC vents. There’s Blackstorm badging on the front headrests.

Since the Blackstorm variant is based on the Select variant of the Astor, we expect a similar set of features, including a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, 10.1-inch infotainment system, rear parking camera, and panoramic sunroof.
