The MG Windsor EV, launched with a starting price of ₹9.99 lakh + Rs 3.5/km under the BaaS (Battery as a Service) program and ₹13.49 lakh (ex-showroom) for the complete package, has secured over 15,000 reservations. The automaker opened bookings for the crossover EV on October 3, and this milestone was achieved within just 24 hours.

As the first EV to reach this benchmark, the MG Windsor’s popularity underscores the increasing demand for sustainable, cost-effective,and rider-friendly transportation choices among Indian car buyers.

The Windsor EV comes equipped with features such as a 15.6-inch infotainment system, an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster, a 9-speaker audio system, ambient lighting, and a panoramic glass roof. MG offers the Windsor EV with a 38 kWh battery pack, powering a motor that produces 136 PS and 200 Nm of torque. The claimed range of the EV is 331 km.
