Nissan Magnite KURO Launched

Nissan India has launched the all-new special edition of their SUV, the Magnite KURO, where KURO means BLACK in Japanese. It is the boldest black SUV from Nissan that offers a plethora of all-black aesthetics and design elements, along with the KURO branding. The bookings for Nissan KURO special edition are open at all the Nissan dealerships and official website by paying Rs. 11,000/-. This comes a few days after Nissan Magnite scored an impressive 5-star rating at the Global NCAP crash testing. Here’s everything you need to know about the Nissan Magnite KURO special edition.

Nissan Magnite KURO: Exterior, Interior, and Features

You will witness an all-black exterior with paino black front grille, resin black front and rear skid plates, R16 diamond cut alloy alloy wheels, black door handles, signature LED headlamps with lightsaber turn indicators, and exclusive ‘KURO’ badging under the Magnite branding on the left fender.

Inside, you’ll get all-black theme with midnight-themed dashboard, piano black finished gear shift knob, and black sun visors and door trims. You also get Sable Black wireless charger as standard and a Stealth Dash Cam as an accessory, along with the 20+ first and best-in-class features.

Talking about the safety, it comes with over 40 standard safety features such as 6 airbags, ABS+EBD, ESC, TCS, Brake Assist, TPMS, 67% high tensile strength steel (>440Mpa), etc. Also, note that the Nissan Magnite recently scored a 5-star rating at the Global NCAP crash test.

Nissan Magnite KURO: Powertrain

There is no change in the powertrain. You get both naturally-aspirated petrol and turbo-petrol engines. The 1.0-litre N.A petrol engine is capable of producing 71HP of power and a peak torque of 96Nm. You get an option between 5-speed MT or a 5-speed AMT. You can also choose the CNG fitment with this engine. With the MT, you get a 19.4kmpl fuel efficiency while the AMT gives about 19.7kmpl of claimed efficiency.

On the other hand, the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine produces 98HP of power and a peak torque of 160Nm. You get a 5-speed manual transmission option along with a CVT. The turbo petrol with MT gives a 19.9kmpl claimed fuel efficiency while the CVT one offers 17.9kmpl.
