Okay, so by the looks of it, it seems that Tata is onto something and is probably working on launching something that might turn out to be a shocker. As going by the recent spy shots, it seems that Tata is surely working on the CNG variant of the Curvv coupe SUV.
It’s not news that Tata is already working on launching the Dark edition of the new Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, and the Volkswagen Tiguan rival, which is scheduled to launch within this month.

Certain media reports also suggest that this fully camouflaged variant could be of the soon-to-be-launched Dark Edition of the Curvv, but looking at how near the launch date of the Dark Edition is, it seems a bit unreasonable for Tata to test a model with full camouflage. So, this only leaves room for a single speculation, which is that this should be the all-new 2025 Tata Curvv CNG.
Now coming to the changes and upgrades, the new Tata Curvv CNG, looking at the images, it is pretty evident that it looks pretty much the same as the current model on sale. However, it is expected to flaunt the i-CNG badge on the tailgate and dual CNG cylinders in the boot alongside the good old fuel switch button on the center console to switch between CNG and petrol modes.
Well, on the mechanical front, we expect to see the same 1.2-litre, turbo-petrol engine, mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. This duo produces 99bhp with a peak torque of 170Nm. However, the most interesting part about the Tata Curvv CNG will be, if it will be offered with automatic transmission or not.
