Since its launch in September, One of India’s first indigenous coupe SUV has been the talk of the town. For some it’s a symbol of revolution in the Indian automotive industry, and for some, it’s just a Tata Nexon facelift with a big booty! Yes, we are referring to the Tata Curvv, which has been getting mixed reactions from the audience since its launch in 2024.

In a latest development, it has come to our notice that Tata will be launching a dark edition variant of its newly launched Citoren Basalt rival soon. However, a few days back, Tata also introduced a Nitro crimson colour in the month of February. So, without waiting any more time, let’s see what’s in store for us with the all-new Tata Curvv Dark Edition.
Ahead of its launch, the dark edition of the Tata Curvv SUV has also started reaching dealerships, suggesting that the launch is a lot sooner than it was anticipated.
- On the outside, the Curvv Dark Edition gets a usual glossy black colourway and Tata’s iconic ‘Dark’ badging on the front right and left fenders.
- Just like every other Dark edition car from Tata, the soon-to-be-launched Citoren Basalt Rival loses out on any chrome treatment in most places.
- The feature list on the Tata Curvv Dark edition more or less remains the same. However, the only extra feature on the Curvv Dark is that it has rear window blinds.
- The generic feature list on the Curvv includes features like, ventilated leatherette seats, 6-way power adjustable seats, a massive 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a panoramic sunroof, a JBL sound system, an air purifier, and an iRA connected car suite, among other features.
- The safety list on the Curvv has a lot to offer, as it will come equipped with almost 20 ADAS features, which include a 360-degree camera, adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition, adaptive steering assist, collision warning, autonomous emergency braking, etc.
- On the mechanical front, the same can be had with 2 engine options, first, a 1.2-litre Hyperion gasoline direct injection engine and the 1.5-litre Kryojet diesel engine, which pushes 125 PS and 225 Nm of torque and 118 PS and 260 Nm, respectively.
- Both the engines come mated to a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DCA gearbox.
