Various spy shots and teasers of the production ready camouflaged version of upcoming SUV from Tata are circulating on internet by car enthusiasts as well as the company itself which clearly signifies that Tata Motors is testing it’s all new SUV for Indian terrains.
After Tata released the teaser of Harrier being driven in Jaisalmer and Laddakh, now the SUV was spied testing in the traffic of Pune city. Here is a spy shot shared via Rushlane which reveals that the production ready unit is being tested in bumper to bumper traffic of Pune city.
This SUV will be the flagship vehicle of the Tata Motors after its launch, replacing current flagship vehicle- Hexa. The bookings of the Tata Harrier had started few days back with a token amount of ₹30,000 and the expected price of the Tata Harrier is ₹13 to ₹16 lacs ex-showroom.
Now talking about the engine specifications, Tata Harrier will be powered by Fiat sourced 2 litre Multijet engine which is renamed as KRYOTEC Engine. This is the same diesel engine which is used by Jeep Compass and will produce around 140 Bhp in the Harrier. Harrier will come with a 6-speed Manual Transmission as well as a 6-speed Automatic Transmission.
