The much-awaited Tata Nexon CNG has been officially launched in the Indian market, just ahead of the festive season. Tata Motors had previously showcased the Nexon CNG with a dual-cylinder setup at the Bharat Mobility Expo earlier this year, generating significant anticipation among potential buyers. 

Like other Tata cars, the Nexon CNG also comes with a dual-cylinder setup, so you don’t have to compromise on boot space. The Nexon CNG offers an impressive boot space of 321 litres. Here is the variant-wise price list of the Tata Nexon CNG.

Features

The CNG variant is available in Smart, Pure, Creative, and Fearless personas. In the top-spec variant, it gets panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, and the 10.25-inch infotainment system and a 10.25-inch fully-digital instrument cluster. 

CNG Powertrain

Tata offers the Nexon CNG with the same 1.2L turbocharged engine, which produces 100 PS of power and 170 Nm of torque. It is the only CNG-powered vehicle that comes with a turbocharged engine. It will be offered with both manual and automatic transmission options.

Nexon EV Gets Bigger Battery On Offer

Alongside this, Tata has made notable updates to its electric vehicle lineup by incorporating the Curvv EV’s smaller 45 kWh battery pack into the Nexon EV range, offering greater range to sub-compact EV buyers. Previously, the Nexon EV was only available with 40.5 kWh and 30 kWh battery packs. This larger battery pack offers a claimed range of 489 km, and according to Tata, you can expect a real-world range of 350-370 km. Additionally, it supports fast charging with a 1.2C rating.

The Nexon EV also gets a new Red Hot #Dark edition, which includes various cosmetic changes to both the exterior and interior of the EV. The exterior features a black color tone with red accents. The seats are also finished in red colour. For this, you have to pay Rs 17.19 lakh (Rs 20,000 more than the Empowered Plus 45).
