Volkswagen has officially revealed its compact SUV T-Cross which will rival already popular Hyundai Creta and upcoming Nissan kicks and Tata Harrier in Indian market.
T-Cross will be the first car from Volkswagen in Compact SUV segment which will use MQB-A0 platform which is based on the new generation Polo Platform.
T-Cross will offer some features internationally including-
• Blindspot Monitoring
• Lane Departure Warning
• Anti Collision System with
• Pedestrian detection
and many other safety features, but may lack some features which will be available internationally to make the Car pocket friendly.
It is expected that Volkswagen will equip 1.0L Turbo Charged 3 cylinder engine which will produce 94 bhp and 113bhp of power as they will be tuned in different states. T-Cross will get 1.6 litre Turbocharged 4 Cylinder Diesel engine which will produce 94 bhp of power.
It will be available in both Manual as well as Automatic engine option.
The price of this upcoming SUV will be kept taking in consideration the prices of it’s rivals, to give tough competition.
