Maruti Suzuki recently launched the fourth generation of its highest-selling compact sedan in the Indian market, with a clear promise that this new model would not be available for taxi fleets. This bold announcement aimed to distinguish the latest Dzire from its commercial fleet counterpart.

However, soon after the launch, sightings of the fourth-generation Dzire with commercial license plates sparked speculation. Now, we have exclusive images confirming the existence of the Maruti Dzire Tour S, which is based on the all-new fourth-generation Dzire.

Maruti will offer the Dzire Tour S in two variants, both based on the base-spec Dzire. The petrol variant is priced at ₹6.79 lakh, while the CNG variant is available for ₹7.74 lakh (ex-showroom).

Both models come equipped with the 1.2-liter Z-series engine, delivering an impressive mileage of 26.06 kmpl in petrol mode and 34.30 km/kg in CNG mode.

The Dzire Tour S retains most of the features seen in the base variant of the standard Dzire but includes cab-specific additions such as a speed limiter. Other features include halogen projector headlamps, LED rear lamps, a shark-fin antenna, a rear lip spoiler, manual AC controls with a digital display, all four power windows with an anti-pinch auto up/down function for the driver’s side, and remote keyless entry. The safety package boasts over 12 features, including ESP and six airbags.
