On completing 25 years in India, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter unveiled the all-new Honda CB 125 Hornet. It comes with a street-style design, multiple advanced features, and a thrilling performance. Honda claims that the CB 125 is the fastest motorcycle in the segment in the country at present. Let’s see what all the ride offers.

Honda CB 125: Performance

Under the fuel tank is a 123.94 cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected, OBD2B-compliant petrol engine that offers a power of 8.2kW @7,500 RPM while churning out an impressive 11.2Nm of torque at 6,000 RPM. The same engine can be found on the Honda SP 125 and Shine 125; however, it has been tuned to deliver better performance. The engine comes paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The motorcycle weighs just 124kgs, making it lightweight and easy to maneuver. With the enhanced performance, the Honda CB 125 Hornet can do 0 to 60kmph in just 5.4 seconds, making it the fastest motorcycle in the segment in India.

At the front, you get a 240mm petal disc brake while a 130mm drum does the duty at the rear. You get a single-channel ABS, which is a great addition to the safety. You will get 80/100 R17 tyres at the front and 110/80 R17 tyres at the rear. Both tyres are tubless.

As soon as you take a look at the bike, you’ll see the golden USD front forks, the first time in the segment. The suspension comes with a 5-step adjustable mono-shock absorber, offering superior handling for the bike. Moreover, it comes with an ignition key on the fuel tank that enhances the convenience as well as adds to the style of the bike.

The bold front fascia gives it a street-style look and a commanding presence on the road, while the all-LED setup offers a premium touch. At the front, you’ll get the signature twin-LED setup along with high-mounted LED turn indicators. The Honda CB 125 Hornet gets a muscular fuel tank that gives it a beasty look.

While you sit, you’ll be greeted with a 4.2-inch TFT display that comes with Bluetooth connectivity and Honda RoadSync app compatibility. You can navigate, get calls and SMS alerts, and play music with a headset, all from this app. The toggle switches are placed ergonomically on the left handlebar, making it easy for the rider to operate the display.

The Honda CB 125 Hornet comes with 4 color options: Pearl Siren Blue with Lemon Ice Yellow, Pearl Igneous Black, Pearl Siren Blue with Athletic Blue Metallic, and Pearl Siren Blue with Sports Red. These dynamic color options offer customers multiple options to match their style and preferences.

The Honda CB 125 Hornet will lock its horns with the likes of TVS Raider 125, Hero Xtreme 125R, and the Bajaj Pulsar N125. The pricing will be revealed on August 1, so stay tuned.
