As a part of its 25-year celebration, along with the CB Hornet 125, Honda 2Wheelers has also introduced the Shine 100 DX (Deluxe). The new Shine 100 DX gets much-needed updates, which are definitely going to give its rival — the Splendor — tough competition.
Price
The prices of the Shine 100 DX have not been announced yet and will be officially revealed on 1st August.
Colours

The Shine 100 DX is available in four new striking colours — Pearl Igneous Black, Imperial Red Metallic, Athletic Blue Metallic, and Geny Gray Metallic — with an updated Honda logo and refreshed graphics.
Design and Features
Honda has tried to give a refreshed look to the Shine 100 DX in order to attract the youth. The new Shine 100 DX gets various cosmetic updates like a chrome garnish around the headlamp, a re-sculpted fuel tank, and a chrome-finished exhaust cover.

Being a commuter segment bike, the Shine 100 DX gets standard features such as a halogen-based lighting setup, 17-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tyres, telescopic suspension at the front, and 5-step adjustable twin shock absorbers at the rear. It also offers the convenience of both self-start and kick-start options, making it practical for a variety of users.

The Shine 100 DX now features a new LCD digital cluster that displays a host of information like the odometer, dual tripmeter, real-time average, range, and more.

Powertrain
The Honda Shine 100 DX is powered by a 98.98cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that delivers 7.28 bhp of power and 8.04 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a four-speed gearbox.
