Sadly, it is that time of the year again when car prices will hit a soaring high. Despite dealerships having excess stocks and car brands achieving new sales heights, we are bound to witness this shananigan from the automakers in the country. Indian auto giant Maruti Suzuki has finally announced when they will be announcing the hiked prices of the brand’s current Indian lineup.

This new price hike from MSIL, better known as Maruti Suzuki India Limited, is said to be effective from 8th April 2025. It has come to notice that all major carmakers are blaming the ever-rising input costs, operational expenses, regulatory changes, and feature additions, which include Maruti as well. So, without wasting any more time, let’s have a look at the revised rate list of Maruti Suzuki’s Indian lineup.
- It starts with the brand’s iconic model and the brand’s sole 4-meter SUV, the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, which rivals directly with the industry’s mafia, the Hyundai Creta, and will witness a hike of up to Rs 62,000.

- Number two on the list is the Eeco, which is set to get a premium of Rs 22,500. The WagonR, Ertiga, XL6, and Fronx are set to get a hike of Rs 14,000, Rs 12,500 and Rs 2,500, respectively.
- That’s not all; the Maruti WagonR has also topped the sales charts for the fourth time this year, with over 198,451 units sold in FY 2025 narrowly passing beating the Tata Punch, which also happens to be the second most sold vehicle in FY2025, which sold 1.96 lakh units in FY2025.
