The iconic ding-ding-ding sound of the Kinetic DX takes me back to my childhood. A friend of mine used to have this scooter, and whenever he used to visit my home, I would know even if he was half a kilometer away. Kinetic DX was surely an advanced scooter at that time, with the 2-stroke powerful engine, and whatnot. And, after a long time, the legend is reborn in an all-new electric avatar. While the iconic sound is missing, the all-new Kinetic DX Electric is offering a lot. Let’s take a look.
Kinetic DX Electric: Design

Take a look at the front fascia, and it will certainly bring back old memories. While the company has ensured that the scooter looks modern, it has tried its best to keep the iconic design intact. You get an all-LED setup for the headlight and the turn indicators. The front fascia also gets the all-new Kinetic logo in the centre. Talking about the similarities, the ORVMs are designed to replicate the ones that were there on the OG. You also get the visor with Kinetic written in bold. At the side, you get a similar design, with most of the elements such as vents for cooling the engine, now just a part of the aesthetics. At the rear, you’ll get the all-new LED setup, while keeping in touch with the OG design.
Kinetic DX Electric: Performance

The all-new electric scooter gets a hub-mounted BLDC motor that produces 4.8 kW peak power in the DX+ variant and 4.7 kW in the DX variant. As for the top speed, the DX+ variant can reach 90kmph while the DX variant can easily cruise at 80kmph. Both variants get an IP67-rated 2.5kWh LFP battery pack. As for the charging time, both variants take 3 hours to charge from 0 to 80%. The only difference, the DX+ variant gets an on-board Easy Charge option while the DX variant gets the standard off-board charger. The Easy Charge tech makes it super convenient as all you have to do is plug, charge, and forget. As for the range, the DX+ variant gets a 116km IDC range while the DX variant gets 102km of IDC range. Both variants get the power regen feature as well.
You will get three driving modes: Range, Power, and Turbo. You also get reverse park assist and hill hold assist in both variants.
Kinetic DX Electric: Features, Dimensions, and Specifications

Are you tired of carrying your keys all day long, and sometimes even tend to forget them? Well, no more. The Kinetic DX Electric gets a keypad where you enter your PIN to lock/unlock the vehicle; the brand calls it the Easy Key. And, no more getting your hands dirty to open the foot peg for the pillion rider as it gets “Easy Flip”, a one-touch flip which opens the footrest with ease.
You get an 8.8-inch LCD console, and the DX+ variant gets some additional connected features, known as TeleKinetics. This includes anti-theft alarm, vehicle tracking, geo fencing, trip analysis, guide me home, and find my Kinetic.
